Bridge to China was established 2005 as a joint venture with Elektroskandia AB. Elektroskandia was present in China with sourcing for Ericsson and Nokia since 1999.

Through this professional processes and procedures for sourcing was available for BTC from day 1 when starting 2005.

From the start large corporations like ABB, Atlas Copco, Toyota and other high level industrial companies – became key customers of Bridge to China. Through this BTC quickly got experience in serving demanding western companies.

In order to succed with sourcing for these leading corporations, Bridge to China developed its own processes based on processes used by Elektroskandia to serve Ericsson & Nokia, to cover also other kind of products. These processes has since then been the core of the operational development of Bridge to China. Through this, a beaurocratic but safe approach, Bridge to China is today delivering more than 1000 different products to clients in Europe, Asia and North America. From simple components to advanced equipment with up to 500 parts.
